Mentoring Class of 2011 - Mentee Application

Session Dates:
Applications to be a mentee in the 2011 Mentoring class are due by December 31, 2010. Register online here.  Partnerships should be established by the end of February. This allows for proper matching and coordination of a new group of Mentor/Mentee pairs by the Mentoring Committee. There are three key dates per session:

  • Applications Due - this is the last date that new applications for Mentor or Mentee will be accepted by the Mentoring Committee. In 2011, the cutoff for establishing new partnerships will be December 31, 2010.
  • Mentoring Training - each new session begins with an hour of training for the new participants. This is mandatory training for each Mentor and Mentee. These sessions will be coordinated as needed by the Director of Mentoring, Outreach program. It usually occurs from 5:00 pm to 6:15 pm on a January Saturday.
  • New Mentoring Start Dates - this is the date that new Mentor/Mentee pairs can begin meeting. February 2011 is the current target for the next session of mentor/mentee partnerships to begin..
