| Abstract |
Everybody knows that Agile is collaborative. Cardboards, peer programing retrospectives are all part of open, engaging dialog. But what if your team is distributed? What if the client is in a different city, QA is in a different building and you have offshore developers in a different time zone? This is where metrics will set your singular vision and keep the team in sync while facilitating communication beyond the war room.
During the course of this presentation we will discuss how to create and read Burndown charts, Velocity charts and Value Wheels using a simple excel spreadsheet.

Alec Finn is a seasoned professional with more than eighteen years of IT experience. The last six years have been spent developing custom Agile practices for Fortune 500 organizations such as Cintas, Fidelity, Nationwide and Great American Insurance. These practices have enabled these larger, more constrained organizations to leverage the value of Agile and it’s 12 core principles within parameters such as distributed teams, bundled releases and established PMOs.
Mr. Finn is currently the National Agile Service Offering Lead for Centric Consulting.
