Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®)

The Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) credential recognizes a demonstrated understanding of the fundamental knowledge, processes and terminology as defined in A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) that are needed for effective project management performance.
You can apply for this credential if you:
Contribute to projects as a subject matter expert, project team member, a project sponsor, project facilitator, project liaison or project coordinator.

Eligibility Requirements:

Educational Background:
High school diploma, an Associates degree or a global equivalent.
AND
Professional experience requirements:
At least 1500 hours of professional experience on project management team.
OR
Project Scheduling Education Requirements:
23 contact hours of formal education.

With support from our sponsors the Southwest Ohio Chapter of the Project Management Institute is proud to be a value provider of CAPM Training.  The courses are taught and administered by some of the best volunteer project managers in the Cincinnati area interested in demonstrating their devotion to the art and science of project management and to their own continuing education.

 

Bill Pike, PMP, ITIL is the current PMP/CAPM Track Project Manager running training sessions multiple times per year.
