Maintain monthly email contact with current and prospective members; email a list of current members with email addresses to the communications committee.

Manager- Logistics

Chapter Secretary

Scheduling and coordination of special events (e.g. PMI Mega Event) and the monthly breakfast and dinner meetings at the various venues throughout the area.

Director Strategic Alignment

Chapter Secretary

Responsible for reporting the strategic alignment, planning and reporting processes (SAPR) to the National Chapter of the Project Management Institute for the Southwest Ohio Local Chapter.

Cost Accountant

VP-Finance

Prepare & Issue Monthly Cost Reports. Reconcile checking account with Bank acct. Reconcile Income vs. Expenses with Bank. Enter accounting data into Ledger. Issue Cost Report to all V-P's

Director Credit Card Administration

Register attendees to all events. Prepare monthly Report of Credit Cards Reg. Register walk-on's to all events. Prepare monthly Reports for V-P of Finance

Director – Academic Outreach

VP-Outreach

Certified PMP who supports all universities with whom we have built relationships.  Responsible for staffing the Relationship Manager role at each university, and also to develop a back-up RM for each university.  Fill judging opportunities as they become known and to support the RM's by ensuring that they have fully staffed judge panels.  Creates the participation awards for all students who fulfill the requirements of the project management class, and also creates the awards for the students on the winning team at each class at each university.  Works to expand the influence of SWOPMI by reaching out to universities with whom we have not yet established relationships.

Director – Academic Outreach

Certified PMP who volunteers to manage the relationship between SWOPMI and a specific university.  Contacts university professors to understand their support needs each semester or quarter.  Communicates those needs to the Director - Academic Outreach, and the two of them work together to fill judging panels with judges for each of the classes where the university has a need.  Works with each professor to gather student project artifacts prior to the date of the student presentations, then distributes them to the judge panel for that specific class.  Attends class and leads the judging panel through the presentations and coordinates the decision-making at the end of class.  Attends class the following session (usually at the beginning of the final exam period) to announce the class winners, distributes the awards provided by SWOPMI.

Relationship Manager

Certified PMP who volunteers for a single class at a local university.  Reviews student project materials to evaluate them for completeness and specific objective criteria.  Attends class on the last full day of a semester (or quarter) as the audience for student project presentations.  The Judge evaluates the student presentation and scores it in the same manner as the other project artifacts.  Works with other judges in the class and the Relationship Manager to determine which student project team has attained the best score and can be declared winner.

Runs the Small Business Award.  Manages the account and selection process.

Director – Community Outreach

Maintains our relationship with The OneSight foundation and Cincinnati Habitat for Humanity.  Manages presence at the chapter meetings.

Director - Professional Development

VP-D&T

Manages and partners with the Development and Training team, 2x yearly programs to enhance the professional development of members of the Southwest Ohio Chapter. Ensure that all professional development activities support the needs and desires of the business and educational communities of the Southwest Ohio area. Also, backup to Director Monthly Events

Director - Monthly Events

Coordinates and manages annual dinner/breakfast calendar of events for Board approval prior to the September Board meeting. The calendar of events runs from September 1 through May 31. Backup to Director Professional Development

Director-Standards & Certification

VP-D&T

Coordinate and manages a team of volunteers for certification activities.   Interface with PMI on: a. Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) revisions, b. Program Management Standard and Credentials Criteria, c. Certified Associate Project Manager Standard, d. Standards and accreditation, e. Certification study and test materials, f. Application processes for the various credentials

Director - D&T

a. Develop a meeting backup agenda in the event of speaker/schedule conflicts., b Prepare the program notice, including a brief biographical sketch of the speaker and the topic in time for the “Cvent” (on-line registration tool) e-mail blast to be sent 30 days prior to the event as well as posting the event on PMI SWOH chapter website. c.Arrange for speaker’s gift certificate ($50), etc., d. Support a complete and timely turnover of Chapter records to the position’s successor.

Coordinates and prepares training material prior to certification classes, Reviews and updates material that coincides with PMI certification test changes, Orders, verifies all training materials such as books, CDs and other pertinent materials, Proofread/prints all training binders prior to meeting., Attends weekly planning meetings
