1. I am not currently a member of PMI but I would like to join. What do I do?

2. I am a current PMI member and I would like to join the SOUTHWEST OHIO CHAPTER of PMI, how do I sign up?

If you do not currently belong to a chapter, or If you want to change chapters: or If you want to add a chapter (you can belong to multiple chapter if you wish):

Since you are already a PMI member, you may contact the PMI Customer Service department at (610-356-4600) and make the change/addition over the telephone or you may e-mail customer service at pmihq@pmi.org. Please make sure you include your PMI membership number and the name of the Chapter you wish to join. Our Chapter name is SOUTHWEST OHIO, Chapter 043.

 NOTE: If your PMI membership is less than 3 months from annual renewal, you should wait and make the request at the same time as renewing to save the Chapter fee.

3. I am not receiving my newsletters or the notices of meetings that go out via US MAIL. How can I ensure that my information is correct on the PMI SOUTHWEST OHIO CHAPTER mailing list?

PMI SOUTHWEST OHIO CHAPTER mailings are delivered to the preferred address specified by you on your application. Changes to your address, company, phone, e-mail etc. may now be made on-line by accessing the PMI Web page at www.pmi.org/members.

 If you misplaced or forgot your password, be sure to contact PMI’s Customer Service Department:

5. Can I renew my PMI membership online?

Not yet, online capability will also be enhanced soon for the renewing of existing memberships, enrolling prospective student members and enrolling of prospects joining through group billing.

6. How do I become Certified as a PMP?

PMP Certification requires experience as a Project Manager, as well as a written test.
Our Chapter offers a PMP Certification Review class annually – see  PMP Certification Exam Prep Seminars  on the EDUCATION section (under MEMBER SERVICES) of this Web Site for additional details.

7. How do I maintain my Certification (Re-Certification)

Our Chapter maintains a list of PDU information for the Chapter Meetings and Seminars.

8. Where can I get directions to the meeting locations?

Information about all meetings, including directions, is posted on this site on the Events.   

Click on the specific meeting listed by date to get directions to a meeting. If you need additional help contact the registrar listed for that particular meeting.

9. Where can I get training?

 For our Education offerings see the EDUCATION section (under MEMBER SERVICES) of this Web Site for additional details.
