Community Connection

Introduction to the Chapter Outreach Program

The Project Management Institute's (PMI®)
envisioned goal is ...

Worldwide, organizations will embrace, value and utilize project management and attribute their success to it.

To bring that goal closer to reality, the Southwest Ohio chapter of PMI proposed to demonstrate commitment to the local area by committing resources, project management talent and relationships to impact the broader community.  In this direction the Southwest Ohio chapter has formed an outreach team and has been working toward expanding the awareness of project management throughout the business, academic and not-for-profit communities in Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana areas.

The chapter believes, with the increased exposure to project management, these communities will have greater success within their organizations and they will grow and prosper through increased knowledge of, application of, and appreciation for project management.

These pages were created to highlight different activities inside of the outreach program of the SWOPMI chapter and to link to some relevant files that explain these programs in detail. Hope you enjoy the tour.
