Chapter Breakfast Meeting May 24: Estimates Saved My Life

Communities Realign to Combine Synergies, Deliver More Value

Six PMI communities of practice are being sunsetted to better align PMI’s content and knowledge delivery with the needs and interests of PMI members. The ultimate aim is to strengthen the value that all PMI communities of practice deliver to members.

The PMI Entertainment, Retail, Transportation, and Troubled Projects Communities of Practice are being repositioned as forums within existing PMI communities of practice, to take advantage of topical synergies:
  • The PMI Entertainment Community of Practice will join the PMI Program Management Office Community of Practice
  • The PMI Retail Community of Practice will join the PMI Marketing and Sales Community of Practice
  • The PMI Transportation Community of Practice will join the PMI Construction Community of Practice, and
  • The PMI Troubled Projects Community of Practice will join the PMI Project Risk Management Community of Practice
